Implants have been thought of as an expensive high tech solution to the loss of teeth (or a tooth).  This isn’t true any more.

A recent literature review examined the health economic implications and cost-effectiveness of dental implants.  This review concluded that a single tooth implant was a “cost effective treatment option in comparison with ‘bridges‘”.

Also, for the replacement of multiple missing teeth, implants were more expensive on the outset but better oral health in general.

Its best to speak to the dentist about the options for missing teeth.  You may be pleasantly surprised by what you hear.
